Aircraft Maintenance

Maintenance and Preparation

Life Flight Network’s maintenance team is nationally recognized for its unwavering quality and safety standards. Our experienced, factory-trained technicians are available 24/7/365 to support our fleet of rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft across the region. Each of our bases has the necessary staffing, parts, and tooling required to service our aircraft, allowing us to efficiently maintain our fleet and ensuring we are at-the-ready for the communities and patients we serve.

Our aircraft routinely undergo extensive inspections at our central maintenance facilities, during which our technicians perform in-depth examinations designed to extend beyond manufacturer recommendations. This practice demonstrates Life Flight Network’s commitment to quality and further ensures the safety of our crews, patients, and healthcare partners.

AMT Award

Life Flight Network recognized by FAA with prestigious Diamond Level Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Award.

The award highlights the critical roles our mechanics play in promoting aviation safety, education, and professionalism. The goal of the FAAST program is to lower the nation’s aviation accident rate by conveying safety principles and practices through training, outreach, and education. It is only awarded to employers with 100% participation in the program.

Our maintenance technicians are highly valued members of our organization. They play a critical role in our operations by ensuring our aircraft exceed safety standards and are primed to carry our crews and patients wherever they need to go.
