All was going well, climbing Jackson’s Thumb, until she realized she had repelled down the wrong route.
Jay’s day of snowmobiling turned tragic when he was thrown off his ride and seriously injured. Life Flight Network was dispatched and transported Jay to Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID. where he was successfully treated. After a month in the hospital, Jay was released from the hospital to complete his recovery at home.
Chuck’s backcountry hunting trip got dangerous when he woke up with severe breathing challenges. After his friend was able to get him to EMS providers, Chuck was airlifted by our Dallesprt team. After extensive surgery and fighting low odds of survival, Chuck pulled through and was released just seven days later.
One cold, dark January morning in Twin Falls, Idaho, Katie left her home to walk to school. Katie was crossing the street in a crosswalk and was hit by a Ford Bronco—bouncing off its windshield and landing 54 feet away. After weeks in the ICU and substantial rehabilitation, Katie was able to return back home to Twin Falls.
David, a high school senior at the time, was involved in a very serious motor vehicle crash. He was one of three passengers in a compact car that had swerved to avoid hitting another car and ended up in a one-car rollover. The fact David survived the crash was nothing short of a miracle. The only way to save him would be through emergency surgery utilizing extraordinary measures to help his blood circulate through his body.
Mark was unearthing a tree, but it snapped and broke loose; and in that moment, Clint was pulling away and did not see the tree coming at the back of his head. Mark was struck and 911 was immediately called. Life Flight Network was quickly dispatched and Clint was rushed to the hospital. After 28days in the ICU, Clint continues with ongoing therapy and rehabilitation, but he is improving every day.
On the day Brandon was transported by Life Flight Network, he was working as a screed operator while paving a road in Rainier, Oregon. A truck failed to follow the pilot car safely through the lane it was supposed to be in and ran into the back of the paver he was operating, crushing both of Brandon’s legs.
