Ground Medical Transport

Life Flight Network
Ground Services

Life Flight Network offers ICU-level care and non-emergent ground medical transport because it’s imperative that we safely and efficiently serve our communities in every possible way regardless if it’s by land or by air. Whether it’s an appointment transport; a hospital discharge; hospice intake; a fixed-wing transfer; or even an interfacility transport requiring Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), or ICU-level care, we are here to transport patients wherever they need to go.

ICU-Level Ground Transportation

Life Flight Network provides ICU-level ground transport throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. At a minimum, ambulances are staffed with an EMT, critical care nurse, and critical care paramedic — ready to care for patients of all ages. Specialty teams are at the ready for NICU or ECMO transports among our partner hospitals throughout each region.

Non-Emergent Ground Transportation

Life Flight Network provides wheelchair, BLS, and ALS non-emergent ground transportation in the Portland metropolitan area. Vehicles are staffed with a medical transport driver, EMT, and paramedic, based on the level of service. These teams are ready to partner with patients and facilities to provide interfacility, appointment, and discharge transports.

I have been on scene when Life Flight Network has been used—about five to seven times. They have always acted professionally at all times. I have assisted with three different crews since you moved to Dallesport. You have been a blessing to our community since you arrived.
