Following a routine dental cleaning, David was hospitalized after developing a staph infection that led to heart valve damage, a dozen strokes, and a cerebral aneurism. While he received excellent care at his local hospital, his condition deteriorated, and ultimately, he required emergent transport to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center for specialized care. Life Flight Network transported David in under 30 minutes when time was of the essence. “David would not have survived a two-hour ground ambulance trip,” stated his wife, Lisa. A month later, he was discharged from the hospital with Lisa by his side.
