New Partnership Streamlines Efficiency and Promotes High Quality Care During Critical Air Medical Transports
July 18, 2014 (Aurora, Oregon)—Officials at Life Flight Network (LFN) and PeaceHealth announced that the two organizations have entered into an agreement to utilize LFN aircraft for all critical care air medical transports on behalf of PeaceHealth hospitals in Oregon.
Michael Griffiths, CEO of LFN, said, “We have an exceptional relationship with PeaceHealth. This agreement represents a deepening commitment by both of our organizations to continue to work together to best serve PeaceHealth’s critical care transportation needs throughout Oregon.”
“We are pleased to partner with Life Flight Network to care for critical patients as they are transferred between or from a local PeaceHealth facility,” said John Hill, CEO of PeaceHealth Oregon West Network.
“By sending a transport nurse on every critical transport, we are recognizing the high level of care available throughout our region.” Rich Stephens, LFN Base Manager in Eugene, noted that LFN has provided services to PeaceHealth and Lane County for many years. “The new partnership allows LFN to improve the operational efficiency of air medical transport, and achieve greater consistency in medical transport services for the PeaceHealth hospitals in Eugene, Springfield, Cottage Grove, and Florence,” Stephens said.
