Executive Leadership

Since joining Life Flight Network in 2013, Casey has served as a Flight Nurse at our La Grande base and has also held various leadership roles, including Clinical Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Clinical Operations. Casey first assumed the role of Chief Clinical Officer as an interim position in May 2021 and formally in September 2021. In his current role, he ensures patient care consistently meets or exceeds industry standards by leading a robust Clinical Leadership Team. His professional passions include high-quality clinical care, operations, and process improvement. He has a fundamental belief in the speed and access to care our industry provides to our patients. Casey takes great pride in serving on the Air and Surface Transport Nursing Association Board of Directors and is a strong advocate for certification and continuing education. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boise State University and his CFRN, CCRN and CEN credentials.

Casey started his Nursing career in 2003 in Pocatello, ID. His clinical background consists of Emergency Department and Critical Care experience in various healthcare facilities across the nation. He has also served in the Army National Guard and US Army Reserves for over 25 years. His service includes two combat deployments in the Middle East as a Medic and Medical Operations Officer.

Casey is married to his amazing husband Clint. They live in Boise, ID, with their three rescued mutts, where they enjoy everything the great Idaho outdoors has to offer, including hiking, skiing, camping and wake surfing. They are avid travelers and enjoy exploring the world seeking new adventures and friends!
