Long Range Medical Transport
As we have grown over the last four decades, we have witnessed many changes in our industry and worked diligently to stay ahead of them both in the air and on the ground. Fixed-wing patient transport has been one of the pillars of our services, and we have taken the next step forward by bringing you one of the largest, fastest fixed-wing aircraft available for medical transport in the market today: the Dassault Falcon 50, available for both national and international medical transport.
We understand that transporting a patient, a friend, far from home can be a frightening experience. Our goal is to alleviate as much stress as possible by making the process of getting home, or to a higher level of care, as streamlined as possible. We walk with you through the entire process to ensure all of your questions are answered.
Time is usually a factor during an air medical transport, both emergent and non-emergent, and therefore plays a role in the decision-making process. The Dassault Falcon 50, powered by three AlliedSignal engines, is capable of non-stop flights from coast to coast in the United States, as well Hawaii and transoceanic flights.
For case managers, Life Flight Network is a CAMTS and NAAMTA accredited fixed-wing and rotor-wing program, which uniquely positions us in the industry. We are a Part 135 air carrier, and directly operate the Falcon 50. The pilots, mechanics, and medical crew are all employees of Life Flight Network. We have a proven history operating on a daily bases in four states, employing 600 people. We will handle every aspect of a patient’s transport from start to finish, working closely with them every step of the way.
The safety and comfort of our patients and their families are of the utmost concern to us and the Dassault Falcon 50 is the perfect solution. Our flights are manned by two pilots, a paramedic or respiratory therapist, and a registered nurse, with room for up to 4 family members and luggage. The aircraft transports patients comfortably at 40,000 feet, often avoiding bad weather and other air traffic.
Working with Life Flight Network for your long-range transport needs is as easy as 1-2-3. Simply start by giving us a call. We can provide a quote, which will cover your air and ground requirements. We can also help you navigate the prior authorization process if insurance is involved. Additionally, we will communicate directly with the medical personnel at the receiving and sending facilities. Our medical teams will be with the patient from the moment we pick him or her up, to the point they arrive at their final destination.
Let us focus on the details while you focus on the patient. Rest easy knowing you’re in good hands from start to finish.
