Rotor-wing Air Methods Corporation provides rotor-wing aircraft for Life Flight Network. The fleet consists of (3) three EC 135s, (4) four AS 350B3s, (1) one AW119 Koala, and (1) one Bell 206. LFN provides rotor-wing IFR capability utilizing the Portland-based, twin-engine EC 135. The remaining EC 135s and the single-engine AW119 Koala, Bell 206 and dual hydraulic AS 350B3s are VFR aircraft.
Fixed-wing Two twin-engine turboprop Commander fixed-wing aircraft are under contract through Aero Air, LLC. These aircraft have recently undergone a complete avionics overhaul. Conyan Aviation provides a twin-engine Cheyenne III turboprop.
Ground Life Flight Network maintains one Type 3 critical care ground ambulance at its Aurora, OR base and currently contracts with Northwest Paramedic Associates, Inc. (NPA) to provide ground services in the Boise area. |
